Just now, I was reminded of one of my favorite comedies during my high school days Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. It was written to be at a local high school near where I grew up, San Dimas High. However, a friend of mine that was a student there during the filming of the movie, indicated the producers approached the Principal about filming on campus, and he denied it. So the actual filming took place elsewhere. And the famous water park scene with Napoleon, takes place at Raging Waters, in San Dimas. I spent many summer days/nights there during my youth.
To this day, I can watch this movie for the zillionth time and portions of it will still make me laugh. My husband and I always quote from this movie, “Oh, don’t be dead, dude….Put them in the Iron Maiden… Medieval Babes…So Crates and Mr. The Kid…We’re just dust in the Wind, dude.”
I laughed as I began reading the Gospel According to Luke, which reminded me of this show, and I wondered if the movie didn’t borrow from this passage.
3 it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus 4 that you may know the certainty of those things in which you were instructedLuke 1:3-4 (NKJV)
